About Thetford Festival of Running
Nestled within Thetford Forest near Brandon, the Thetford Festival of Running returns to High Lodge for its second edition. Runners taking on the 10 km trail race will navigate forest pathways and woodland sections, primarily following a 5 km loop that can be completed twice. A water and aid station sits at the lap point to support participants throughout the race.
The event is cupless, so runners should bring their own bottles or cups for refills. Registration and post-race refreshments including tea, coffee and cake are provided at Oak Lodge. Participants can opt for a bespoke medal or select a "lucky dip" medal from previous events. The race takes place on 21 February 2027.
