About Thunder Races
Thunder Races is a series of trail events taking place between September 2026 and March 2027 at The Willows in Flitwick, Central Bedfordshire. The programme includes distances of 25 km, 50 km, and an ultra option across runnable countryside combining rural paths, villages and open fields. Routes are fully marked and supported with generous cut-offs, designed to let runners focus on their effort rather than navigation.
The series emphasises a welcoming environment with volunteers positioned throughout the courses and on-course features designed to maintain energy and morale.
