About Ticehurst Trail Race
The Ticehurst Trail Race is a 7.5 km trail run set in the High Weald countryside near the East Sussex village of Ticehurst. Starting and finishing at Ticehurst Sports Ground, the course is approximately 70% off-road, incorporating around 111 metres of elevation gain across flowing trails and rewarding climbs. Runners will pass through the surrounding countryside with views across Bewl Water, the largest reservoir in South East England.
The fully marked and marshalled route is organised by 1066 Trail Races and takes place on 23 August 2026. Facilities including parking, toilets and changing rooms are available at Ticehurst Village Hall, with refreshments provided after the race.
