About Tiree Half Marathon & 10K
The Tiree 10k takes runners to one of Scotland's Hebridean islands for a trail race along coastal roads on 1 May 2027. Both the 10 km and half marathon start and finish on the beach, following the coast towards Hynish. The 10 km route is an out-and-back course to Hynish, with a clearly marked split just before the 7 km mark.
Race day includes registration and number collection at An Talla, followed by an evening programme featuring a dance and prizegiving. Prizes are awarded for overall results, age groups, teams and spot prizes. All runners receive a goodie bag at registration and a locally crafted race memento at the finish. The event, established in 2006, welcomes both island residents and visiting runners, and forms part of the Tri-island challenge linking races on Mull, Coll and Tiree.
