About Trawsfynydd Multi Terrain 8 Miler
Runners seeking a mix of speed and challenge will find plenty to enjoy on this 8.6-mile multi-terrain race around Trawsfynydd lake in Snowdonia. The mostly fast course takes in mixed tarmac and trail, with one testing climb breaking up the flow across 175 metres of ascent. The race starts on Sunday, 4 April 2027 at noon from the Magnox Power Station car park.
Proceeds from the event support South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team, an entirely volunteer-run charity that provides emergency response across the region. The race is open to athletes aged 17 and over, with separate kids' races also taking place. Numbers and timing chips are collected on the day, with water stations positioned along the route.
