About Trent Valley Ultra
The Trent Valley Ultra draws runners who relish a challenge through the Nottinghamshire countryside. This 50 km trail race on 15 May 2027 winds through local villages via a mix of footpaths, bridleways, tracks and minor roads, with checkpoints positioned roughly every 6 to 8 miles to break up the distance. The course starts and finishes at Milestone Brewery & Tap in Cromwell, where ample parking is available and a 10 hour cut-off applies.
The event is capped at 220 runners and welcomes those aged 18 and over. Finishers receive a commemorative pint glass, and post-race there's food, the brewery's tap room and on-site entertainment to enjoy. Route details and a GPX file are published in advance, with full results shared afterwards. A caravan site at Milestone offers overnight accommodation for participants and their supporters.
