About Trigger Fell Race
Trigger Fell Race is a 33 km linear fell running event taking participants from Marsden to Edale across some of the Peak District's most challenging terrain. The route traverses Black Hill, Bleaklow and Kinder, with 1650 m of climbing over the course. Starting from Marsden Cricket Club on 10 January 2027, this is an event for experienced fell runners and navigators, with a minimum age of 18 and entry subject to vetting of relevant experience.
Full FRA kit is required, and runners must arrange their own transport to the finish as the course is linear. The event holds UK Athletics insurance through the FRA and is run in support of Woodhead Mountain Rescue, with all profits donated to the organisation.
