About Trunce Race Series
The Trunce Race Series welcomes runners aged 16 and upwards to its fell running event on 7 September 2026. Held at Oxspring Playing Field in Sheffield, the 6.2 km trail course offers a chance to compete in a casual, accessible format with entry available on the day and no pre-entry required. Junior runners compete in their own separate race.
This event is part of an eight-race series where individual race performance contributes to series-wide recognition. Trophies are awarded across junior, senior and combined veteran categories based on cumulative results throughout the series rather than single-race placings. The course is insured through UK Athletics via the FRA.
