About Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon
Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon takes runners on a single-lap 13.1-mile route through the Kentish countryside on 21 February 2027. Beginning and ending in the town centre, the course passes through Southborough, Bidborough, Penshurst, Fordcombe and Langton Green before returning home.
The entirely road-based route is notably undulating throughout, with steady climbs and rolling terrain shaping the race. A significant feature is the long ascent at Spring Hill near Fordcombe, which presents a formidable challenge in the middle section. This combination of rural lanes, village edges and sustained hills makes for a demanding early-season half marathon.
