About Tunnel Vision - Market Harborough
Tunnel Vision is a 5-mile trail running event centred on the Oxendon Tunnel near Market Harborough in Leicestershire. The out-and-back route takes runners through the 422-metre tunnel, which features mood lighting. Participants must bring a head torch or handheld torch to navigate through it, as the tunnel surface includes ruts and puddles. The rest of the course covers hard-packed track suitable for road or trail shoes.
The event runs across two consecutive days in November, with a Night Run on 5 November followed by a Dawn Run on 6 November. Runners can enter one or both events. Those completing both races can link their event medals together. First aid will be stationed at the start, finish, tunnel entrance and turnaround point.
