About Turner Landscape Fell Race
A 10.6-mile fell race across challenging Lake District terrain, the Turner Landscape Fell Race takes runners over approximately 2,972 feet of climb through the Duddon Valley. Set for 8 August 2026, the course passes three major checkpoints—Grey Friar, Old Man, and White Pike—testing navigation and fell running skills in an exposed, rocky environment with limited shelter.
Organised by Turner Hall Farm near Seathwaite, the race is open to runners aged 18 and over. Pre-entry is required and must be arranged in advance; day-of entry is not available. All proceeds from the event support Alzheimer's Research UK.
