About Tywardreath Trotter
A seven-mile trail race through the Cornish countryside, the Tywardreath Trotter takes runners across footpaths, bridleways and quiet country lanes around the village of Tywardreath. The course is hilly, beginning with a lap around the village before heading out into the surrounding landscape. Starting and finishing at the New Inn in the village centre, the race benefits local charities through funds raised by the event.
Part of the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series, the Tywardreath Trotter has been running since 2006 and is organised by Tywardreath Village Fete Committee as part of the village's summer celebrations. The event welcomes runners aged 16 and over, with marshals and local residents supporting participants along the route. The race takes place on 24 July 2027.
