About Vale of Clwyd 5k
Based at Llanbenwch Cafe & Shop near Ruthin, the Vale of Clwyd 5K takes runners on a loop through the southern end of the Vale on 10 January 2027. The route combines quiet roads, trails and public footpaths, mostly flat with a few gentle climbs to break up the running.
The 5K is electronically timed with category prizes and finisher medals for all participants. The cafe at the start and finish point is open before and after the race, offering a place to gather once the running is done.
