About Valentines Track Run
Valentines Track Run takes place on 13 February 2027 at the YMCA Newark and Sherwood Community and Activity Village in Nottinghamshire. This inaugural seven-hour challenge invites runners and walkers to complete laps of a 400-metre athletics track, with participants able to start a final lap up to 6 hours 59 minutes into the event and finish that lap regardless of whether it extends beyond seven hours.
Five distances are available: 5 km, 10 km, 13.1 miles, 26.2 miles and 50 km. An aid table is stationed at the end of each lap, offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and food. Toilet facilities are available in the main building. Parking is provided on site, with the organiser encouraging car sharing. A bag drop area will be available, though it is not a secure storage facility. The event is organised under UKA Athletics rules, which set age-based maximum distances for younger competitors.
