A 12 km fell race across the North York Moors, the Viking Chase takes place on 11 October 2026 near Swainby in North Yorkshire. Starting from Lordstones Cafe south of Carlton in Cleveland, the course climbs 572 metres over terrain that demands fell running experience and navigation skills. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
This category BM race is part of the Dave Parry / Lets Run Winter Series and raises funds for Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team. Runners should come prepared with full body cover, and a cut-off time may be applied at checkpoint 2. Entry is available on the day at Lordstones Cafe.
