About Waingels Woodley Run Fest
Taking place on road courses around Waingels in Reading, this community-focused run fest offers three distances to suit different abilities and ages. Participants can choose between a 2 km kids' fun run, a 5 km or a 10 km route, with all races starting and finishing at Waingels School.
Organised by Waingels PTA in partnership with Barnes Fitness, the event on 27 September 2026 features chip timing across all distances, with instant results and free downloadable photos available to runners. Finishers receive medals, and awards are presented for podium places and age groups. The school grounds host activities and refreshments for families throughout the day.
