About Weardale Agricultural Show Fell Race
Taking place on 29 August 2026, the Weardale Agricultural Show Fell Race is a 4 km trail race held at St. John's Chapel in County Durham. Runners tackle 120 metres of climbing across a course that uses a slightly longer route than in previous years.
The race starts outside the Secretaries Tent on the Show Field and is open to competitors aged 12 and upwards, with U18 as the junior category for the main event. The race holds a permit and UK Athletics insurance through the FRA.
