About Wendover Woods 10k
Race The Light at Wendover Woods supports the Chilterns Neuro Centre, with all proceeds donated to the charity which helps people affected by multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and stroke. Taking place on 16 July 2027, this trail running event is based at Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire and offers three distances: 1.5 km, 5 km and 10 km.
All routes run entirely on marked trails within the woods with no road crossings, making navigation straightforward. The 1.5 km is open to under 12s, the 5 km to ages 12 and over, and the 10 km to ages 16 and over. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules, with a maximum entry of 500 runners. Support includes chip timing, medical cover, a water stop on the 10 km route, and facilities including accessible toilets. Finisher medals are awarded and parking is available on site.
