Minehead and its surrounding Somerset landscape provide the setting for this 50-mile trail ultramarathon on 8 May 2027. Starting and finishing at West Somerset College, the course covers approximately 7,337 feet of elevation gain across a partly out-and-back route with an additional loop. Runners will encounter coastal sections, ancient woodland and moorland, passing notable landmarks including Bossington, Porlock Weir, the smallest parish church in the UK at Culbone, and Dunkery Beacon. Early miles include flat tarmac and seafront running before the terrain becomes progressively hillier with steep climbs and descents through forest and moorland.

Six staffed aid stations are positioned along the route, offering water, coke, squash, sandwiches and snacks. The race operates on a cupless basis, so runners must carry at least one bottle and a cup if needed. A GPX file is provided with race information, and course markings are in place where required. The event has a 16-hour cutoff and is supported by professional medics. Support crews are permitted to hand supplies to runners, and drop bags can be left at registration.
