About Whittle Pike
Whittle Pike is a fell race in the South and West Pennines, set to take place on 12 August 2026 from Cowpe Village Hall near Bacup. The 5.5-mile trail route covers 550 metres of climbing across the moorland terrain. Competitors must be at least 16 years old, and teams are welcome to enter.
Entry is available on the day of the race. The event holds a permit and is covered by UK Athletics insurance through the FRA.
