About Wild Hybrid Edinburgh - Solos
Wild Hybrid Edinburgh - Solos takes place on 23 August 2026 at Dalkeith Country Park, a 1000-acre estate south of Edinburgh. The solo event is open to participants aged 16 and over, with 5 km and 10 km trail distances available. Both routes use paths and trails through the estate's woodland.
Specialist ruck run categories are available, with participants carrying weighted packs over the trail terrain. Men carry 10 kg packs and women carry 7 kg packs; competitors must provide their own, which will be weighed at registration. The event uses chip timing and awards prizes to the top three finishers in each category.
