About Wilmslow Summer Half Marathon
This inaugural half marathon takes place on a net downhill course through Wilmslow and its surrounding area. The route starts in the heart of the town, ventures into traffic-free country lanes, then returns through the town centre during miles seven to ten. With 108 metres of descent against 98 metres of ascent, the course is designed to favour quick times.
The race takes place on Sunday 11 July 2027, starting at 8am, with fully closed roads throughout. Runners will experience cheer zones as they pass back through Wilmslow's town centre in the second half of the race. Free town centre parking is available for participants.
