About Wiltshire - Kingfisher Run
Coate Water Country Park in Swindon hosts this multi-lap trail event on 1 November 2026, with a course that blends gravel and tarmac paths, lakeside tracks and woodland trails around a 3.28-mile lap. The terrain is generally flat with gentle undulations and is suitable for road shoes, taking runners across the distinctive spiral concrete bridge and onto a woodland railway path. Participants can complete as many laps as they wish before the event cutoff, with official times recorded for a minimum of one lap. Four distances are available: 5 km, 10 miles, 13 miles and 26 miles.
An aid station operates at the start and finish of each lap, offering race nutrition with vegan and gluten-free options available. The park café and a nearby pub provide additional refreshment. Entry is limited to manage numbers on the paths and bridge. The event supports the British Legion.
