About Winter Wander Challenge
A 5 km trail challenge in East Devon on 11 December 2027, the Winter Wander Challenge invites runners and walkers to complete laps of an undulating route on an old disused train line near Exmouth. The event runs as an 8-hour timed competition with flexible start times, allowing participants to begin within a set window and complete as many laps as they can manage before the cutoff.
Finishing requires completing at least one lap within the permitted time. The route itself is accurately measured at 5.3 km per lap and follows tarmac throughout. Maximum entries are capped at 75, with a minimum age of 18 years.
