About Winter X
Winter X takes runners onto the trail network of the Meon Valley for a mid-winter challenge. Based at Meonstoke Church of England Infant School near Winchester, the event offers four distances: 10 km, 30 km, 50 km and 70 km, all starting and finishing at the same point. The routes follow well-trodden public trails with occasional short road sections, marked throughout with course support and marshals stationed at multiple checkpoints.
Checkpoints are fully stocked with hot and cold drinks, food and toilet facilities. Runners will find an event T-shirt, timing, marked course, marshal support and post-event food and drink included, plus a memento. The event runs under UKA rules and is capped at 300 participants across all distances. Dogs are not permitted on the route, and age restrictions apply.
