About Wirral Multi-Terrain Series Race 1
Runners choosing between 6.5 km and 8 km routes will navigate trail terrain at Wirral Country Park on 1 September 2026. The mixed surface course incorporates natural underfoot conditions including sand, rocks, mud and hills, offering a distinctive alternative to conventional road racing.
Based at Thurstaston, this opening event in the Wirral Multi-Terrain League welcomes both junior and senior participants. Runners can enter as individuals or commit to the wider series, which brings together a collection of short distance mixed terrain races across different Wirral venues, each with their own course characteristics and challenges.
