About Witterings Beach Run
A coastal trail run across the sands of West Wittering Beach, this event follows the shoreline on Sunday 1 November 2026. Three distances—5 km, 10 km and 15 km—make use of the extensive sandy flats at low tide, with each route mapped and published in advance. Runners can expect panoramic views across Chichester Harbour, the Solent, the Isle of Wight and the South Downs.
The course is marked with pink arrows and pink tape, with caution signage at hazards and road junctions. Water stations are positioned on each route, and first aid support is available both on-course and at the event centre. The Witterings Beach Run welcomes dogs, with canicross categories available for those running with their pets.
