About Woldingham Marathon
The Woldingham Marathon offers trail running across a mixture of terrain including wooded sections, ridge paths and private roads around Marden Park in Surrey. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles on an out-and-back route, while the full marathon distance of 26.2 miles follows the same course twice. Runners will encounter uneven ground, steps and short steep climbs throughout, along with several road crossings to navigate.
The route takes in sections of the North Downs Way and Vanguard Way, passing notable landmarks including Chalkpit Lane, The Ridge and Woldingham Golf Club before finishing at Woldingham School via a private drive beneath a railway bridge. The event takes place on 30 August 2026 and welcomes entrants aged 18 to 99. Participants should be prepared for wayfinding via finger post signs and benches along the course.
