About Worcester Ring Run
Worcester's waterways form the spine of this 23 mile trail run, which traces a clockwise loop around the city and Droitwich on 29 November 2026. Starting and finishing at Gheluvelt Park, the route follows the River Severn, the Droitwich Canal and the Worcester & Birmingham Canal before returning via Diglis Bridge and Pitchcroft. The predominantly traffic-free course combines well maintained towpaths, riverside trails and quiet road sections.
Runners can tackle the full distance individually or compete as a two person relay, with the changeover at Droitwich. The event is fully marshalled and signposted throughout, with checkpoints positioned along the route and professional race timing at the finish.
