About Workington Summer 5K Series Race 4
The Workington Summer 5K Series concludes with its fourth and final race on 19 August 2026. This 5 km road race takes place at The Cloffocks in Workington, with the start and finish near Workington Cricket Club. The officially measured course is designed for fast running and personal best attempts.
Organised by Timing Up North with chip timing, the race includes registration at the cricket club, a pre-race safety briefing, lead bike support, a sweeper runner and first aid cover. Individual prizes are awarded on the day. Runners who have completed at least three of the four races in the series are eligible for the overall series standings and veteran category awards, making this final event a chance to secure their final placings.
