About Yellow Belly 100
Lincolnshire's Wolds provide the setting for this 100 mile ultramarathon on 27 March 2027, following a single loop through the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route incorporates sections of the Viking Way, passes through historic villages across the county, and totals approximately 2,438 metres of cumulative ascent and descent. Based at Swallow Village Hall near Grimsby, the event accommodates a strictly limited field of 150 runners.
The 100 mile course must be completed within a 36 hour cut-off, with six aid stations positioned along the route. Runners receive GPX files to navigate using OS Maps or Garmin devices, alongside a mandatory kit list and race day information. Participants who finish receive a bespoke finisher's medal and a Yellow Belly Pale Ale, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
