About Yorkshire Reservoir Dogs
Otley's reservoir landscape provides the backdrop for this 20-mile trail race on 26 September 2026. The route weaves past seven reservoirs including Lindley Wood, Swinsty, Fewston, Thruscross, John O'Gaunt, Beaver Dyke and Scargill, taking in notable trail areas such as Stainburn Forest and Almscliffe Crag. The race is limited to 200 entrants and open to runners aged 18 and over.
Checkpoints along the course supply water, coke, energy bars and crisps. Entrants can opt to hire a tracker for £15, which includes an emergency button and is activated at registration held at The Bridge Church on Cattle Market Street. All runners must carry mandatory kit, which is subject to random checks throughout the event. Parking is available at Craftsman Tools Car Park on Pool Road. The race awards ITRA and UTMB qualifying points as part of the Punk Panther series.
