Youlgrave's Pommie Panter Fell Race takes place on 16 May 2027, based at Alport Lane Playing Fields in the Derbyshire Dales village of Youlgrave. This 6-mile trail race, run under Fell Running Association rules, features approximately 267 metres of climb across rough trails, open fields, country lanes and technical ground. The route is partially marked and marshalled, with about 80% on grazing land where competitors may encounter cattle.
Navigation experience or local knowledge proves useful on this course, which can be recced in advance as it runs entirely on public paths. Terrain includes a section of swamp among the more varied ground. The compact village has limited parking, so entry is restricted for that reason. Three toilet blocks are available at different points around the route, with post-race water provided.
