About Zigzag - The Lucky Horseshoe
Zigzag – The Lucky Horseshoe takes runners on a 10 km trail route through West Suffolk, starting and finishing at Abbotts Countrywide near Bury St Edmunds on 19 September 2026. The out-and-back course uses the Gallops Route, an area known for horse training, where participants may spot racehorses at work.
The event is organised by Zig Zag Running and operated from a Race HQ and Base Camp at the venue. Parking is included with entry. Runners will need to bring their own bottles or cups for refilling at aid stations and the Base Camp.
